CA ROOT CERTIFICATES



A certification hierarchy consists of a hierarchical CA structure in which it is based on a root (self-signed) CA, which signs intermediate CA certificates and lists of revoked CA and intermediate CA certificates. At each level, there is one or more intermediate CA that sign final entity certificates, and revoked certificate lists (CRL).



The PKI managed by ANF AC follows a vertical Certification Hierarchy in accordance with the IETF document RFC 4158 “Internet X.509 Public Key Infrastructure: Certification Path Building”. The Certification Route is built from the Root Certificate of the Certification Authority.
