With this certificate, holders will be able to:

Perform Procedures

Identify yourself on the internet to carry out procedures safely before Public Administration and Private Entities. Procedures such as presentation and settlement of taxes, presentation of legal resources and claims, filling in census data, among others.

Sign electronically

Sign documents electronically in your name and with full legal guarantees.

What documentation should I provide?

You must provide one of the following documents:

1. For Spanish nationals: Original and valid ID or Passport.

2. For foreigners:
NIE document (Card or certificate of permanent residence in Spain).

NOTICE: If the NIE is justified by the General Police Directorate, national identity document in the case of EU citizens, or passport must be attached, for both EU nationals and non-EU nationals.

Certificate Request

To request an electronic certificate you should go to your closest Identity Verification Office. ANF AC counts on Identity Verification Offices distributed throughout the national territory. To find the nearest office to you click here.

At the Identity Verification Office you must provide the documentation and an Operator will guide you in the process of requesting the certificate. You can only request certificates for yourself, it is not possible to request certificates for third parties due to the need of face-to-face verification.

Once the procedure has been completed at the Identity Verification Office, you will get your token along the request, which you must activate following the instructions provided by the operator who made the request. After 24 hours, you can download and start using your certificate.

The certificates issued will be valid for 2 years and can be renewed for 2 more years.
